CCB Singapore Branch undertakes the role of issue manager, underwriter or placement agent and helps companies in initial public offerings (IPOs) on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST). The listed entity could either be structured as a public company, a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) or a business trust.
The Branch also manages or arranges secondary fundraising transactions for companies that are already listed on the mainboard of the SGX-ST. This could take the form of rights issues, private placements or secondary public offers. Funds could be raised via a variety of instruments including ordinary shares, preference shares, warrants or other convertible securities.
Since its inception in 2004, the capital markets team has successfully completed a diverse range of Equity Capital Market transactions for issuers from Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China. These included but not limited to IPOs on the mainboard of SGX-ST, secondary market fundraising such as rights issue and placement, and also delisting / privatisation of SGX listed companies.
