The Commodity Trade Financing Centre

The Commodity Trade Financing Centre (the “Centre”) was established in January 2021 as an internal unit of the CCB Singapore Branch. It was the first commodity trade financing centre established by CCB Group outside China. The Centre, taking advantage of Singapore’s geographical location as a global trading hub and the favourable policies implemented by the Singapore Government, provides strong support for the commodity trading of Chinese companies expanding overseas, Fortune Global 500 multinational corporations, and established companies in Singapore. It will also push forward the application of digital banking, especially the use of blockchain and the Internet of Things (“IOT”) in commodity trading.

Capitalising on a group of professionals with strong expertise in trade finance, the Centre strives to provide clients with one-stop, integrated financial service solutions that cover the entire supply chain in commodity trading, spanning from trade finance, derivatives trading to consultancy services and cash management. The Centre is committed to contributing its part to the development of the commodity trading business in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region.
